This application lets you cut and extract fragments from videos. Therefore it can be used to remove unwanted parts like commercials and trailers from a video recording, or to select and extract only your favorite part from a much larger movie. It also lets you join multiple video files into one single larger file.

A nice feature of this tool is that it supports loading and processing files of various video formats, such as AVI, MP4, MPEG, FLV, MOV, MKV, etc. It can even merge together two video files of different formats and export the output to a completely new format. For example, you can join an AVI and an MP4 and save the output as a 3GP file.

Free Video Cutter Joiner offers a very simple, neat and easy-to-use interface. Unfortunately, it cannot be resized or customized and it looks quite dull, in my humble opinion. Anyone, it’s straightforward and self-explanatory, therefore anyone can use it without any problem, including complete novices. The processing speed is also satisfactory. Cutting or joining the video files will take only a few minutes, at most.

In the end, this application represents a viable choice if you need a simple tool to cut or join video files in an easy manner, and advanced features such as video editing options are of no interest to you.
